Upgrade your outdoor living space with Urban Core Deck, the smart choice for homeowners seeking the perfect bridge between traditional timber and premium composites. Designed to deliver a splinter-free, weather-resistant finish, Urban Core Decking provides the aesthetic appeal of natural wood without the demanding upkeep or the high price tag of advanced capped boards. Available in four stunning colours and featuring a versatile reversible profile, this cost-effective hollow composite decking allows you to build a high-quality, low-maintenance garden terrace on a budget.
When planning a garden upgrade, finding a material that balances aesthetic appeal, longevity, and budget is often a challenge. Urban Core Decking is engineered specifically to solve this problem. As a highly cost-effective Wood Plastic Composite (WPC), it offers a highly durable, splinter-free surface that eliminates the exhaustive annual maintenance required by standard wood, all while remaining highly accessible for budget-conscious landscaping projects.
If you are tired of sanding, staining, and sealing standard wooden boards but cannot justify the investment required for top-tier co-extruded composites, the Urban Core Deck is the ultimate middle ground. It provides an authentic timber aesthetic that mimics natural woodgrain, combined with the rot-resistant, weather-defying properties of a modern WPC board. You achieve a premium outdoor finish without the premium price tag.
The secret to the affordability of Urban Core Decking lies in its advanced square hollow-core construction. By optimizing the amount of raw material used during the manufacturing process, these boards are significantly lighter and far more cost-effective to produce and transport. This intelligent structural engineering maintains excellent load-bearing integrity and durability while passing massive cost savings directly onto your project budget.
Every Urban Core board features a versatile two-in-one reversible design, giving you complete control over your patio's final look.
Natural Woodgrain Embossing: Choose this side for a classic, textured wood effect that brings traditional warmth to your outdoor space.
High-Traction Groove: Flip the board for a sleek, modern, slip-resistant finish with clean architectural lines.
You can easily tailor your installation by mixing both profiles—utilizing the grooved side for steps and high-traffic areas, or combining contrasting sides to create striking picture-frame borders and edge detailing.
Urban Core Decking is designed for straightforward installation and long-term peace of mind. Achieving a Class C fire rating (C Fl S1), it provides a secure and reliable surface for family homes and busy gardens. Measuring 3.6m in length, 146mm in width, and 23mm in thickness, the boards are perfectly proportioned for rapid fitting. For a flawlessly clean, screw-free finish, we highly recommend securing your deck using the compatible Extruda Deck hidden fixing clips, ensuring your new terrace remains pristine, barefoot-friendly, and structurally sound year after year.
