Wood effect cladding refers to PVC Wall Panels with a decorative finish on their surface. They are designed to look like real wood and are approximately between 20cm and 30cm in width and 2.6m by 2.7m in height. Despite their size, these panels are still lightweight due to their corrugated structure.

Two brands stand out in our Wood Effect Cladding range. The first is our own Decorwall Woodgrain product, which is a high-quality PVC wall board with a detailed foil finish. It is available in numerous colours, such as Kona, a medium-coloured wood panel with a warm tone representing oak, or Driftwood, which has a more muted colour, giving a washed wood effect. This washed wood effect has a very rustic vibe and is perfect for living rooms or lounges. The Elegance Woodgrain Carbon is another product that takes inspiration from a light ash colour, providing a muted grey tone that easily complements any other décor in your home.

The second brand within the PVC Wood Effect Cladding range is our Vilo Motivo Wood collection. These panels have a slightly softer construction than the Elegance Woodgrain due to their higher PVC content. Another fantastic property of the Vilo brand is its 100% recyclable, making it environmentally friendly. However, their main value is in their high-quality digital print, which adds plenty of fun and quirkiness to a PVC Wall Panels. Some designs in the Vilo Wood collection run horizontally, such as the Reclaimed Wood wall panel and the colour wood. Horizontal lines not only add flair but also easily grab the viewer's attention, creating a feature wall or your very own "wow" statement.

Wood Effect Slat Panels

Wood effect slat panels are currently one of the most popular products on the market, driven by social media trends and the desire to step away from the norm. They are sometimes referred to as slat walls, slat panels, 3D wall panels, or acoustic panels (which are normally backed with a fabric felt material). The Decorative Wall Panels we provide in our Wood Effect Slat Panel category are solid to the touch, without the cheap felt backing used by many of our competitors and use various materials with a modern printing technique.

The materials used in wood effect slat panels are either a high-density polystyrene, which is lightweight, easy to install, easy to cut, and more robust than its felt counterpart, or a Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) material, which is a blend of PVC and timber particles. Combining these two materials provides a low-maintenance finish, making a strong overall product.

The two key product ranges in our Slat Panel category are the VOX Linerio, which is made from high-density polystyrene moulded into a unique 3D shape. Afterwards, it is cooled down to harden before going through a hot stamping process to give that realistic wood effect. The result is a lightweight, low-maintenance, easy-to-install slat panel with no wrapping!

Additionally, VOX Linerio comes in three slat sizes (Small, Medium, and Large). This makes it compatible across different sections of your room, creating key features due to the colours matching between each specific size.

Our other panel is our Thermo-Slat product, which is made of a wood plastic composite material. This product is designed with a square tube-like shape at the back of each slat panel. This tube-like shape serves a few benefits:

• Keeps the product lightweight
• Provides strength to the product
• Reduces the products cost
• Naturally traps air inside, so the panel offers some form of thermal insulation.

Although this panel isn’t a traditional wood effect panel, it is a real contender due to its hues of brown and grey and the subtle pattern derived from our Elegance Abstract product range.
