About MB DIY
Established in 1987 by Mike Greenup Snr, MB DIY began as an independent supplier to the joinery and window industry with just five staff members in a small unit. Today, backed by over 30 years of experience, we are a national, multi-channel supplier distributing thousands of premium quality products every week to DIY enthusiasts, tradespeople, and businesses across the UK.
Despite our national scale, our foundation remains unchanged: strong family values, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to having the right stock when you need it.
Our Purpose-Built Headquarters In 2020, to support our continuous growth, we moved into our brand-new, state-of-the-art 45,000 sq. ft. headquarters on South Bank Road, Middlesbrough. Strategically placed in the North East of England, this facility features a massive warehouse, a dedicated sales office, and our own 12+ strong delivery fleet ensuring quick, safe, next-day delivery anywhere in the UK.
We are also looking to the future. We’ve invested heavily in solar energy to minimise our carbon footprint, taking a huge leap forward in becoming a sustainable, environmentally conscious company.

MB Hardware: Supplying premium home improvement products to both the trade and public. We stock leading industry brands like Yale, ERA, Hoppe, and Maco. In addition to our massive stock, our Lock Station department offers master suiting, key cutting, and top-tier security solutions.
MB Decor: The UK’s leading independent supplier of waterproof PVC panelling for walls, ceilings, and flooring. We stock major international brands alongside our own premium ranges. We also offer a full dropship service, an exclusive portal app for live stock levels, and massive marketing support for our stockists.
