MB DIY is based on South Bank Road, just off the Cargo Fleet roundabout in Middlesbrough and was established in 1987 as an independent supplier to the joinery and window industry by Mike Greenup Snr. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and strong family values, and with over 30 years of experience in the home improvement industry MB is now a national, multi-channel supplier specialising in three key areas – Decor, Hardware and Security. Across these three subsidiaries thousands of premium quality products are despatched every week to DIY enthusiasts, tradesmen and companies all over the UK.

Furthermore, due to increased demand for our products we are currently in the process of building our new home; based a stones throw from our existing site, our new building will be opened in early 2019 with increased storage for stock, a new showroom showcasing the very best of our product range and ample customer car parking.

MB Hardware

MB Hardware supplies premium quality home improvement products throughout the UK to both the trade and public.

Established in 1987, MB Hardware quickly built strong links with leading hardware manufacturers such as Paddock Lockmaster, Yale, ERA, Hoppe, Fab & Fix, Maco, Roto and Securistyle, meaning we were able to offer our customers the very best range of products at competitive prices.

In addition to this, in 2012 MB began to manufacture its own range of hardware products which are a popular choice with our customers and are now in general circulation throughout the UK.

MB Decor

Established in 2000 MB Decor is the UK’s leading independent supplier of PVC panelling for walls, ceilings and flooring. PVC panelling is waterproof, easy to clean and easy to maintain, making it a stylish and practical alternative to traditional tiling.

As well as being the UK’s leading stockist of various well known brands such as Duma, Vox and Swish Marbrex, MB Decor also manufactures our own ranges of high quality wall and ceiling panelling under our Decorwall and Decorceil brands, which is sold both directly by ourselves and throughout the UK via a number of trusted distributors.

MB Security

MB Security is the newest subsidiary of MB. It supplies an expanding range of window and door locks and security accessories, stocking top global security brands in addition to our own manufactured premium security products.

MB Hardware, MB Decor and MB Security are all based in Teesside in the North East of England. We are based in a 45,000 square foot building with warehouse space and sales offices, and we have two retail shops which are open to the trade and public so feel free to call in any time to browse our products or seek advice from our friendly and helpful team!
