Each board is 2600 mm long, 250 mm wide and 5 mm thick, covering 0.65 sqm once installed. The panel edges are shaped to lock together through a tongue and groove joint, allowing you to create an even, continuous surface that hides the individual board lines. The material is UK fire rated, lead-free and formed from resin, calcium carbonate and layered coatings that maintain colour and durability over time. Panels can be bonded directly to most flat surfaces using Decorwall Megabond or Decorwall Panel Adhesive,. In humid rooms, it is important to maintain regular ventilation so moisture does not collect behind the surface.

Where the wall is exposed to running water, such as inside a shower, seal the groove with a small line of silicone before connecting the panels. This creates a watertight joint and prevents moisture from travelling behind the board. If you plan to install the panels behind a kitchen hob, a heat-resistant splashback or a sheet of glass must sit between the cooker and the cladding. When the panels are used overhead, allow for around 100 mm of open space above them to disperse heat safely.

Before installation, check every board for colour consistency and correct sizing, as fitted panels cannot be returned. When attaching fittings such as shelves or hooks onto panels installed over battens, use a bushing to prevent compression; drill through the board, insert the packing piece and secure the screw.
