Each board is 2600 mm long, 250 mm wide and 5 mm thick, covering 0.65 sqm once installed. The tongue and groove edge allows each panel to lock neatly into the next, giving you a smooth, continuous surface without visible joins. The material is UK fire rated, free from lead and made from resin, calcium carbonate and protective coatings that keep the surface durable in everyday use. Best of all, you can simply install your board directly over your existing tiles using Decorwall Megabond or Decorwall Panel Adhesive. In rooms that stay humid for long periods, steady ventilation is important so moisture does not build up behind the boards.

For shower enclosures or other areas exposed to constant water flow, run a small line of silicone inside the groove before joining the boards. This seals the joint and helps protect the wall behind. When panels are installed near a kitchen hob, a heat-resistant splashback or glass panel must be fitted between the appliance and the cladding. If the panels are being used overhead, whether on a ceiling or on a suspended frame, leave roughly 100 mm of open space above them for heat to disperse safely.

Truffle Stone fits naturally into a wide range of rooms such as the bathroom, kitchen, living room, office, ceiling and as a decorative feature-wall where a warmer stone effect suits the design. Before installation, check each board for matching colour, size and overall condition, as fitted panels cannot be returned. If the wall surface is uneven, battens must be installed at 40 cm intervals, leaving small gaps between each row to allow for airflow. Battens can be secured using screws, nails or adhesive. When mounting shelves or accessories onto panels fixed over battens, use a bushing so the board is not compressed; drill the hole, add the packing piece and fix the screw.
