• Maximum Sizes: Double-glazed units have a maximum area of 2.5m² and a maximum length of 3200mm. Triple-glazed units have a maximum area of 2.0m² and a maximum length of 3200mm.

Installation and Maintenance

Survey and Preparation A qualified surveyor should verify that all supporting frameworks, walls, and foundations are fit for purpose. Ensure all measurements correspond to internal opening sizes to avoid installation issues. The rooflight should be installed at a minimum pitch of 2.5° to ensure proper water drainage.

Kerb Preparation Prepare a 75mm width timber kerb, ensuring it is fully weathered in with an approved membrane or flashing kit. The kerb should be a minimum of 150mm in height from the finished roof level.

Installation Steps

1. Apply two generous beads of adhesive sealant around the top surface of the kerb.
2. Carefully position the rooflight, aligning it centrally over the kerb internal opening.
3. Secure the rooflight from inside the internal opening using self-drilling screws, wood screws, and fixing plates.
4. Finish the installation with internal plasterboards, ensuring they fit neatly inside the internal trim provided.
