When ordering your roof lantern the two important dimensions are the “Width” and “Projection” this relates to the internal measurement where your roof lantern will fit. The sizes of your roof lantern will dictate the number of supporting beams which your roof lantern require. When selecting your sizes you will be shown the structure of the roof lantern you will roof lantern. You will also see a CAD drawing of your finished product via an order acknowledgement which you will need to sign. All skypods provided by MB DIY are of a 20 degree pitch.
Our Roof Lanterns are a bespoke product, once you place your order with us online, we arrange for CAD drawings to be made of your finished product. This is sent to us via a PDF document, once we receive this PDF document we will then send it on to you to confirm that the sizes are correct.
A digital form will be available to sign at this point also. as soon as this form is signed you are accepting the terms. At this point the product can not be returned as the manufacturing process will be started.
Once you have signed your order confirmation your roof lantern is then processed to be manufactured. From ordering we expect your roof lantern to be fully delivered to you with in 10 working days.
The first item to be delivered will be your glass, this will be delivered by a specialist glass transport company. You will be contacted prior to delivery to make sure you are home and you will be given a 1 hour delivery window. We are unable to deliver this glass without anyone at the premises for insurance purposes
Please note, if you are not in to receive delivery of your glass there is a £150 redelivery charge so please ensure you are home for delivery.
Whilst your glass is getting delivered to you, MB DIY will be personally delivering the rest of the unit. This will be on our own vehicles and you will also have a delivery window and tracked delivery for this part of your order.
