DOWSIL™ 785+ silicone sealant delivers high-performance sealing for a wide range of sanitary surfaces, including plastic, glass, ceramic, porcelain, and vitreous enamel. Engineered for bathrooms, kitchens, and other wet areas, it contains a powerful fungicide to resist mould growth, helping maintain clean, hygienic surfaces over time. With a fast curing time—tack-free in just 30 minutes—and joint movement capability of +/-20%, this flexible sealant meets the stringent standards of ISO 11600-F-20LM, making it a trusted choice for both residential and commercial applications.
For best results, ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from grease before applying the sealant. Clean non-porous surfaces with methylated spirits and dry thoroughly using a clean, oil- and lint-free cloth. Any excess sealant can be removed from tools and non-porous surfaces while uncured. If applied to porous substrates, allow the sealant to partially cure before removing it by peeling, cutting, or other mechanical methods. Take care to avoid damaging sensitive plastic or coated surfaces during this process.
