The Lockmaster PLK480 Composite Hook Keep is an essential component for maintaining the performance and security of your multipoint door locking system, specifically designed to be fully compatible with Lockmaster locks. Manufactured by Lockmaster, a trusted name in door security hardware, this adjustable hook keep delivers precision engineering and dependable durability for long-term use. With a length of 165mm and a width of 27mm, it provides a perfect fit for a wide range of door setups, while its universal handing makes installation straightforward, regardless of door orientation.

Suitable for both composite and timber doors, this hook keep ensures smooth and secure engagement of the locking hooks, helping to maintain optimal door alignment and security. Whether you are replacing a worn or damaged keep or upgrading your existing multipoint system, the Lockmaster Hook Keep is designed to restore your door’s locking efficiency and provide peace of mind.

To keep your lock keep operating at its best, regular maintenance is recommended. Applying a specialist lubricant such as GT85 to the gearbox and moving parts will help reduce wear, ensure smooth operation, and extend the lifespan of your locking system. Proper upkeep not only improves performance but also helps prevent common issues such as stiffness or misalignment.

Upgrading your multipoint door lock keep is also the perfect opportunity to enhance other areas of your door hardware. Consider pairing this product with a new set of door handles to refresh the overall appearance of your door while ensuring full compatibility with your locking system. Additionally, upgrading your door cylinder to a high-security 3 star cylinder can significantly improve protection against modern security threats such as snapping or bumping, giving you added confidence in your home’s security.
