Ergonomically tested and fully compliant with Part M accessibility requirements (section 0.23), the AM5Ex threshold is an ideal solution where inclusive access is essential. It can be installed as the fourth side of the door frame or used as a retrofit, offering flexibility for both new and existing projects.

It effectively seals gaps between 18mm and 23mm, providing improved thermal performance and reducing air infiltration. Built with a thermally broken core, the AM5Ex meets critical standards for insulation and thermal bridging.

Compatible with a wide variety of materials—including wood, PVCu, fibreglass, aluminium, steel, and carbon fibre—this threshold is also designed to fit directly onto level thresholds, making installation straightforward and precise.

The non-slip surface adds safety in wet conditions, and it’s ideal for use over carpeted floors, maintaining a flush finish without obstructing access. Pre-drilled drainage holes are included for effective water management, while end caps seal off the ends of the front channel for a neat, complete look.

For subsill applications, pair this threshold with the Proline AM5Ex Subsill – 04CP294.
