The Vilo Fronto V Black Oak is an external wall cladding made from projected slatted panels that form a defined façade profile. Made of high-quality PVC, it is the perfect alternative to timber slats that are labour intensive and exceptionally demanding to maintain. It is also designed to suit building surfaces where these projected panels provide defined lines across the wall surface.
Visually, multiple slats project forward from the panels body. Between these, a black groove surface forms the recessed background that provides the shadow gaps between each slat. This contrast highlights the profile of the boards while strengthening the appearance across the façade once installed.
For a secured installation, each board measures 283mm across the total panel width before installation begins. When the interlocking overlaps with the next panel, the visible coverage reduces to 250mm across the wall surface. In addition, the slatted profile projects 12mm from the panel body, which shapes the exterior surface. And as it is manufactured from PVC it remains stable and weather-resistant for exterior cladding applications.
To maintain the cladding panels over time, routinely inspect that the fixing strip remains secure along the supporting battens. When cleaning the slats use water and mild detergent to remove dirt from the boards surface. And lastly, check that the interlocking joints remain seated along the full length of the cladding run.
*To complete the installation, matching trims can be found within the Kerrafront trim range. For the Chocolate Oak V Black panels, the Caramel Oak trims provide the recommended colour match.
