The Vilo Fronto V Black Walnut is an external wall cladding made from horizontal slatted panels that form a defined façade profile. Made of PVC, it is the perfect alternative for timber slats that are labour intensive and exceptionally demanding to maintain. It is designed to suit building surfaces where these horizontal panels provide defined lines across the wall surface.
The upper edge contains the fixing strip that secures the panel, supporting the battens behind the cladding. The lower edge engages with the previous board to hold the panels together along the installation run. The visible face forms multiple horizontal slats across the front of the board. A black background sits behind the slatted sections and creates contrast across the façade.
Each board measures 283mm across the full panel width before installation begins. Once the interlocking overlaps with the next panel, the slatted wall coverage will measure 250mm. In addition, the slatted profile projects 12mm from the panel body, offering the stepped façade surface that shapes the visible exterior. And since it’s made from PVC, the board structure remains stable for exterior cladding use.
Furthermore, the upper edge of the panel contains the fixing strip, which secures the boards into place. The lower edge engages with the previous board, keeping the panels connected along the installation run. We recommend inspecting the fixings, while cleaning the boards with water and mild detergents to remove any residue. Also, periodically check that the interlocking joints remain seated along the full length of the cladding run for a secure installation.
