VOX Fronto Outdoor (2 Plank) Slat Panel – Oak

The VOX Fronto Outdoor (2 Plank) Slat Panel Oak is an exterior wall cladding with a two-plank horizontal slatted façade. It is used as a PVC alternative in place of natural timber slats that are more demanding to install and maintain. And as the panels run horizontally across the wall, they will easily produce horizontal shadow lines on the building surface.

This interlocking system uses the Max-3 technology, a tri-layer PVC structure developed to balance strength, flexibility, and surface durability within a single panel. This layered build helps minimise distortion across long board lengths, increasing resistance to impact and surface damage. It also ensures consistent performance when exposed to external elements such as rain, temperature shifts, and UV light.

For structural installation, the upper edge of the panel forms a fixing strip that attaches directly to supporting battens. The lower edge then interlocks with the board below, so the cladding run stays aligned during installation. Across the visible face of the panel, two wide slat sections shape the front profile. This is what provides the appearance of a two-plank arrangement defined horizontally across the building surface.

To make installation a breeze, each board measures 28cm across its full width. Once the interlocking overlap engages with the next panel, the visible coverage reduces to 25cm. In addition, the profile depth measures 12mm, which forms the stepped slat projection along the board face. These panels are manufactured from PVC, meaning less maintenance and less risk of weather deteriorations.

As for maintenance, we recommend that you routinely inspect the fixing points along the batten line. Cleaning can be carried out with water and mild detergent to remove dirt from the panel surface. And furthermore, periodically checks that the interlocking joints remain fully seated along the exterior panel.
