VOX Fronto Exterior Slat Panels – Oak

The VOX Fronto Exterior Slat Panels Oak provide horizontal slatted panels across exterior walls. It is designed as a PVC alternative to timber boards without the maintenance associated with natural wood. And as the panels run in longer lengths, they also reduce the number of vertical joints need to complete the task.

The system is manufactured using Max-3 technology, a layered PVC construction that distributes structural strength across three functional levels within the panel. This improves load distribution along the board, increases resistance to mechanical stress such as expansion and contraction, and enhances long-term performance when exposed to external conditions including moisture and temperature variation.

Because each panel fits securely to the supporting structure, the top edge of each board offers a fixing strip to the battens along the wall. The lower edge then connects into the previous board, which helps keep the panels running correctly as installation continues. Across the front of the panel, a visible face provides horizontal shadow lines over the wall surface.

To define both coverage and surface depth, each board measures 28cm across its full width before installation. Once the next panel engages, the overlapping joint reduces the visible coverage to 25cm. Furthermore, the profile height measures 12mm, and this projection forms the slatted face across the panel. In addition, the boards are manufactured from PVC for exterior wall use, meaning less time on installation as well as maintenance.

To keep the panels performing for longer, routinely inspect the fixing points remain secure along the batten line. Regularly clean the surface with water and mild detergent so dirt does not build up on the visible face. In addition, routinely check that the interlocking joints remain fully seated along the length of the installation.
