The VOX Solvo SO-02 Double Panel Chocolate Oak V Black (3m) is part of the Solvo ventilated slatted system used to clad exterior walls. It is the ideal PVC alternative to genuine timber slats that require less effort to install as well as maintain. They suit suits modern buildings, extensions, mobile homes, and small structures. And since they can be installed horizontally or vertically, homeowners can decorate their property’s exterior in different layouts.
Visually, the visible face features a double board profile that reproduces the look of two narrow boards across the façade. A deep black printed V-joint runs between these sections, which provide a darker dividing line and gives the cladding stronger visual contrast. The upper edge forms the fixing section that attaches the board to supporting battens, while the lower edge locks into the previous panel maintaining alignment along the wall.
Additionally, each panel measures 300cm in length and covers 16cm of wall once installed. The total panel width measures 18.8cm before it overlaps with the next board. It has a thickness of 0.18cm across the profile structure. And as the panel weighs approximately 4.2kg based on a coverage area of 0.54m², meaning the weight measures 8.75kg per m² across the façade surface. These panels are manufactured from PVC, using a chambered internal structure that improves rigidity while keeping the panel lightweight.
For long-term use, the PVC construction prevents moisture and resists mould on the façade surface. They are also completely waterproof and do not require sealing or additional coatings. Routine maintenance is not required, and no paints or preservatives are needed during the lifetime of this system. When installed as part of a ventilated façade, the panel will allow airflow behind the cladding while the boards insulation performance.
