The VOX Solvo SO-02 Double Panel Grey Oak V Black (3m) forms exterior façade cladding used within the Solvo ventilated façade system. The Grey Oak finish provides a timber-effect surface that suits modern buildings, extensions, mobile homes, and other small structures. Because the panels can be installed horizontally or vertically, homeowners can style their property’s exterior to suit different facade layout.
Visually, the panel offers a double plank layout that reproduces the appearance of two narrow boards. A deep black printed V-joint separates these sections, which emphasises the divide between each board while adding contrast across the façade surface. Along the rear edge, the upper fixing section secures the panel to supporting battens. The lower profile then engages with the previous panel to maintain a continuous cladding run.
Furthermore, each board measures 300cm in length and provides 16cm of usable coverage once installed. The full panel width measures 18.8cm before the overlap locks into the next board. The profile thickness measures 0.18cm across the panel body. Each panel weighs approximately 4.2kg based on a coverage area of 0.54m², while the installed façade weight measures 8.75kg per m². These panels are manufactured from PVC using a chambered internal construction that improves rigidity while also keeping the panel lightweight.
For long term external performance, the PVC construction prevents moisture and does not support mould growth across the surface. These panels are completely waterproof and do not require sealing or protective coatings during installation. The ventilated design allows airflow circulation behind the cladding, which helps maintain the insulation layer. It also has impact resistance, helping protect the panel surface from everyday external contact.
