The VOX Solvo SO-02 Double Panel Natural Oak V Black (3m) is an exterior slatted panel within the Solvo ventilated system. Made from PVC, it is perfect replacement of natural timber slats that require more time to install and maintenance. It is designed to be used on modern buildings, traditional houses, extensions, and other small exterior structures. Because the panels can be installed horizontally or vertically, homeowners can adapt the layout to suit their property’s design.
Two board sections form the twin-board profile. A deep black printed V-joint sits between the sections and provides a shadow gap that emphasises the separation between each board. The upper section of the panel forms the fixing edge that attaches to supporting battens behind the cladding, while the lower edge locks into the previous board to maintain alignment along the installation run.
For a secure installation, each board measures 300cm in length and provides 16cm of usable coverage once installed. The full board width measures 18.8cm before the interlocking overlap with the next panel. The profile thickness measures 0.18cm across the panel body. Each panel weighs approximately 4.2kg and provides a coverage area of 0.54m². The panels are manufactured from (PVC) using a chambered internal construction that improves rigidity while keeping the panel lightweight.
Maintaining these panels is also effortless as their PVC construction prevents moisture and does not promote mould across the surface. PVC is also waterproof, meaning the panels do not require sealing, painting, or preservatives during their lifetime. When installed as part of a ventilated system, the airflow behind the cladding helps reduce the trapped moisture held behind the façade. These boards also offer Impact resistance which helps protect the surface from everyday wear and tear.
