With options including the Yale Platinum 3 Star Key Cutting Service and the Yale Superior 1 Star Key Cutting Service which can be purchased online, We do also offer in-store standard 6 pin key cutting however to offer this service we require the original key to match the replacement.

These keys are made to order, so please allow up to 3 working days extra for despatch of your key(s).

PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend that you order these keys to a different address to where the lock is fitted. For security reasons, we do not ship the keys with an invoice.

How to get your Yale 3 Star Keys Cut?

1. To cut your keys, simply look for the original key card which came with your, key. At the top of your card, it will say “Platinum Ultra 3 Star” or “Platinum 3 Star” Please take careful note of this, as keys will not work if the wrong dropdown is selected. If you are unsure, simply look at your door cylinder. This will also be stamped “Ultra” if it is the ultra product.
2. Once you’ve identified the correct cylinder, your card will have three blocks of numbers. These will be referenced either (PD, PE, PF) / (UD, UE, UF) / (D, E, F). These codes ensure the key fits your cylinder.
3. Once you have identified the correct cylinder, and the correct code type.. Choose from the dropdown menu’s on this product page.
   1. In addition to these dropdown, we’ve added a visual check to ensure the correct cylinder is selected.
4. Once everything is selected, you should see “Block A, Block B, and Block C” appear. This is where you can enter your individual numeric codes.
5. When adding to the basket, we advise delivering to a trusted family member and not directly to your home for security purposes.

When ordering this product, please ensure to double check your key card. The keycard will clearly state Platinum Ultra, and the cylinder will also be stamped with “Ultra”

How to replace a Yale Door Cylinder

Maintenance and care of your Yale door cylinder

We recommend regular lubrication of your Yale cylinder locks to ensure continuous trouble-free performance and operation.

For this, we recommend using a PTFE-based lubricant. A small amount of lubricant should be applied to the key and then inserted into the cylinder. Rotate the key a couple of times in line with the normal locking function. Remove the key from the cylinder and wipe away the remaining lubricant to ensure it isn’t transferred to other objects.
