Yale Slimmaster – 12 inch Satin Silver Letter Plate 40/80mm

The Yale Slimmaster 12 Inch Satin Silver Letter Plate 40/80mm is a contemporary door letter plate designed for PVCu, Composite and Timber entrance doors.

Its Slimmaster design is particularly suited to doors featuring a narrow midrail, providing a practical option where installation space may be limited. Dismountable telescopic sleeves allow the letter plate to accommodate door midrails approximately 36–70mm thick, giving it the flexibility required for a variety of replacement and new door installations.

Both the internal and external flaps are fully spring loaded, helping them return to the closed position following use. The steel spring mechanism is concealed within the letter plate, providing dependable operation without detracting from its streamlined appearance.

A closed-cell foam gasket pad provides weather sealing around the letter plate, helping protect the opening from external weather conditions. The flap opens to approximately 95°, providing convenient access for letters and other suitable postal items.

Finished in Satin Silver, the aluminium flap is colour matched to the surrounding frame for a coordinated appearance. The softer satin finish provides a contemporary alternative to highly polished door furniture and can complement a broad range of modern PVCu, Composite and Timber door styles.

The Yale Slimmaster has also been endurance tested to 20,000 operating cycles and corrosion tested to 96 hours NSST, making it suitable for the demands of regular use on residential entrance doors.

Whether being installed as a replacement for an existing letter plate or as part of a new door hardware installation, the Yale Slimmaster 12 Inch Satin Silver Door Letter Plate provides a combination of durability, weather protection, fitting flexibility and understated contemporary styling.
