The 5100 series is a battery-operated electronic lock, which is easy to install, programme and operate. The lock is suitable for domestic or commercial applications, especially on multi-use doors where conventional key management control could be a problem.
This is the deadbolt version of this lock, and there are two levels of access control:
1) By electronic keypad with a range of codes, 1 – 9 which provides more than 500,000 possible combinations.
2) By touch code key/reader which accepts up to 255 user keys.
Programming code changes are easily performed with the use of function buttons. There is? a passage function (lock can be opened without code) which again is easily set up. Power is provided by 4 x AA alkaline batteries (NOT included) which usually provide a minimum of 12 months operation.
A low voltage warning system signals low battery power, and in case of complete electronic failure the lock is fitted with a key override system. 2 touch code keys are supplied with the lock as optional extras.
